I'm sorry but I hardly think Travis Green is the player they've been waiting for. Toronto got hit hard by the injury bug this year and right now they are just trying to stay competitive. Travis Green is just a veteran player to fill in some of their holes. If they start getting some of their regulars back in the line up then maybe they'll start winning games.

Travis Green is a grinder. Any coach will tell you that a team needs a few grinders to dig in the corners and make things happen. He is a good band aid fix for Peca being injured but if his play is not up to par he will finish the season with the Marlies. I don't think that his presence will hurt as he is a good friend of Tuckers and with those 2 along with Peca when he is back, Ondrus, Belak, Kilger, Newbury etc. the Leafs have a team that other players may think twice about going into the corner with or skating in the neutral zone without their head up.

i will think that the toronto maple leafs will do better because he is great player to have on a team he is also skilled and help you win games the bad thing is that the first half of there season was really bad hope travis green makes a difference to help them win as much as possible

Travis Green is a very good player, but I'm afraid the Leafs need more than one guy to help salvage their season. They probably will win a couple more games against some of the weaker teams in the league like the Flyers, but overall, I don't see him helping them a whole lot.

Well with a player of Green's caliber, he can not hurt the play of the Maple Leafs. He has a lot of potential as well, I think at first they made a poor trade with Green, but give him a year or year and a half he will do superbly!!!!!!!

Travis Green will win you some face-offs....and be a decent checking line player....and on the penalty kill....by himself I don't think he'd win the game...but he helps defensively with Peca on the shelf

No; the Leafs are not that much better. They will be lucky if they grab the final playoff spot. If they do make it though, I'm going to see Melrose so I can watch the games on CBC with her and enjoy some Canadian style action during the game.
