30 minutes may be pushing it a little. You have to be careful that you don't raise your internal temperature too much. How long after you get out do you continue to sweat? If your body does not get back to its regular temperature within about 10-15 minutes of getting out of the sauna, you have stayed in too long.

If you plan to use a hot tub or whirlpool after exercising, allow plenty of time to cool down first, experts say. And limit alcohol intake when soaking. Besides affecting the circulation, alcohol can cause you to become dehydrated, further limiting your ability to cope with the heat. Do not stay in the hot tub longer than 20 minutes.
Don't keep your entire body immersed for long periods, experts say. Instead, keep your upper body out of the tub most of the time so your system can shed excess heat.
Just keep in mind that the heat from a hot tub penetrates only slightly beyond the skin, so it can't work any miracles on your muscles.

Depending on the temperature; hard to say.
I've owned a sauna and tried several others, and normal sauna time is around 15-20 min.
The human body will only take so much heat before you just keel over.

With a low heat setting and lots of water to drink, I think 30 minutes may be ok for a healthy young person.

Well it really depends on what you feel you can tolerate. 30 minutes is a pretty good time. Maybe take a nice cold bottle of water with you in there just in case. If you start to feel dizzy or dehydrate get out right away, I wouldn't push it though, it's not fun to pass out.

i've stayed in a lot longer than a half hour. i usually like to stay in saunas for a like an hour and a half

if its like 140F , I like to stay in for 3 hours or so, more in Winter
it feels great, leaches out toxins, gets rid of pain, burns calories
just don't overheat, alternate cold showers with the sauna for optimal effects.

Yeuh cuz Im finnish and you should be truly finnish too and finnish people can handle it, its good for you! lol, well maybe you need to breath a little air in between, just like for 10 seconds.
