How can people pose nude, then expect to have jobs
working with alot of people, some of them children, and
act as if it's an OK thing to do ?
Then they get fired and pull the " I didn't know, or think it
was wrong ".
Do you believe them ?
I don't.

I can tell you haven't read the news.
Some men think that women that do
this type of thing are " Easy ", and
" pester " them about their posing nude.

My brother used to have a fiancee who posed topless for an issue of Outlaw Biker, in 1994. Needless to say, she lost her job (as a jailer in Brookings County, SD) and my brother. I asked her if the $150.00 she got for 'modeling' was worth it. She had no answer.

I don't believe them. I do, however, believe in the ability to do whatever you want to outside of work. I, myself, have a second job waiting tables at night and I think my boss would be embarassed if he knew. If one of our clients saw me working there they would think that we're not paid enough (for a single mom, unfortunately, it's never enough!). My career requires a 4 year degree minimum, and knowing a lot of high profile people in our area.

That being said, I probably wouldn't pose for a dirty magazine or become a stripper. I would, however, pose for a nude art class or be an experimental before / after breast job for a plastic surgeon. Those are morally acceptable in my mind.

It's what America is founded on. Check your bill-o-rights! ".. life, liberty, and the pursuit of happyness...." What I do in my spare time outside of work is my business. And how did they find out I posed nude in anything unless THEY were reading that magazine. Isn't that very UNfamily orientated? Since when has being a female been such a crime? We could go be a muse for a painter, sculpter, or an artists of pen, pencil, or charcoal and it's all gravy. Since when is posing nude for a photographer a crime? You look at porno don't you? So what if we said no more nudes ever? What then? Bet your life sucks.

i think they know it could put the job on the line, but they are hoping not to be found out. also, some people really get off on posing, so maybe it was a good idea at the time, and they just didnt think of the consequences.

Why should they get fired for that ?
I never got fired after posing nude when I was younger.

I never saw anything forbiddings it in the internal regulations or code of conduct of the companies I worked for, and I worked in many. In two of them we even posed nude together for a company calendar.

Nudity is not pornography. In places where it's legal the novelty wears off and its not shocking and taboo ie. the Scandinavian countries. The adult bookstore near me does a good business selling DVDs and tapes to visiting salesmen who take them down south and sell them in places where " the good people" don't cotton to that type of thing. As beauty is in the eye of the beholder it appears that sin is also.

Society has taught us the naked body is bad. I think if it's done tastefully(unlike hard core or Hustler shots) it should be OK to do it. The body is a beautiful thing to admire if done tastefully. I would be honored to have my spouse or girfriend pose nude if done in taste

i know the case your talking about, its that Air force chick who posed in playboy. The answer is that of course she knew she would get fired, but saying that wouldn't help her lawsuit much would it? Plus she probably got paid more than her yearly salary for that one photo shoot.

If the naked picture was implying sexuality and she tried to get a professional job then she should know she may get fired.

If the naked picture was not implying sexuality then and she tried to get a professional job then no she should not have to know she may get fired.
