When the background should be black it shows up as white, and my contact table is not showing either. But it is on other computers, just not mine. What do you think is wrong with my puter>?

It's a common problem.
Its not the computer, it's your brain.
You have Brain 1.2.
Take a bat and smack yourself in the right temple as hard as you can.
When you wake up, you'll be able to see colors again.
You really should see the wizard of OZ about that.

I'm not a good expert on computers, but did your system start up on safe mode instead of regular? Mine did this a couple of years ago and everything was black and white. You can try restarting and see if it returns to normal, because that's what I did with mine.
