This proberly seems really desperate, but I have been in a relationship with my guy for 10yrs. At the beginning I had loads of friends but now most of them have either moved away, got married/pregnant or got new boyfriends, for which i'm really happy for them. I do see "my friends" now and again but this time last year I was out every friday on a girls night and spent a saturday with my man. But now I seem to spend fridays alone at home with a bottle of wine! Any tips on how to get more buddies.

You need to drop the bottle of wine, to start. Don't let wine be your soul mate, because it is terrible at that.
Next. Why don't get involved in some community service, some quick career course, or even church. There are many options for you. All of them are worthy of try.
Even Yahoo chat is a great place to meet new people, according to your interests.

Also try going to an evening class or joining a club (a knitting club, a book club... etc) where you can meet new people in a safe friendly environment.
