womens hormones peak around 38-42....their sexual appetites increase....BUT, that is not to say they will act on any feelings....( i did not!) i would never have an affair.it just goes against all my beleifs in my marriage vows.
as for men, their "midlife crisis" period...when most likely to stray ....can start around 40 to 55. ( i am going thru this now with my own hubby.) he will be 50 next yr. has had an affair..and we are trying hard to make it work. i would advise you, if you are having these feelings, to just do a google search for midlife crisis.male............i learned alot.....seems MEN cant really control their emotions going thru "male menopause" found very interesting info.....and am giving my hubby the time he needs to work thru this crisis. (the grl.friend is GONE...THANK GOD.) so, good luck. hope this helps.

Men will always have an affair -- they don't care when it is. Women will usually have an erotic affair -- nothing lasting too long, just to be blown away for a couple of weeks or a month or two. It's usually when they are in a long standing (marriage) relationship. Yes, George, women get bored with men too! Want to prevent the woman from having an affair, rent 9-1/2 weeks, or use a rocket-pocket during foreplay, by her some outrageous, sexy clothing and go park; some cuffs, and a tickler -- men need to use their imagination because sometimes we are way too tired of the old car going in and out the garage!

If a couple is having troubles and is not taking measures to resolve them, the odds are good that a situation will present itself where one or the other will have to make a decision to be faithful. Depending on the integrity of that person he or she will stray or run back to their partner and try to work things out. Difficulties can pop up at any time through out a marriage, its important not to let them go unresolved, If you do........resentment sets in, anger follows, and a devilish deed seems reasonable.

When she is feeling lonely, unattractive, and not very useful in her regular life. She then seeks another man to satisfy and satiate what she believes is missing in her life so that she can feel pretty, useful, etc, etc, etc.
