My husband of 10 years left me for another woman 2 mos ago. I had no idea he was cheating and trusted him completely. I was devastated and am trying to get my life back together.
my fear is he will come back to me and beg when I feel better
I don't want him back but I am afraid I will weaken.
Any similar experiences?

If he chose to leave, then don't let him back in your life... because if he's comes back, its only because of his own insecurities and fear of being alone (mostly likely because the new relationship failed) and not because he wants to be with you. If he wanted to be with you... he would have fought tooth and nail to stay with you once you found out about the affair... but he didn't. So later when he realizes his loss.. remember that it was his choice... he LOST you.. you didn't lose him.
You deserve better. Move on.

If you keep telling yourself that if you get weak and go back with him your likely to go through it all over again. Then you will find yourself at square one having thrown away months of repair. You will not be happy with him knowing he left you for someone else. Why do that to yourself ?

my dad cheated on my mom and i told my mom if she ever got back together with him i would loose all respect for her....i know that doesn't mean much when it's not your own kid that is going to loose respect for you but keep it in the back of your mind!

although i have never been married i have an experience when my b/f of a year left me for a nother girl he came back but i let him have it,it was good.

If you don't want him back then don't take him back. Stay pissed off at him and you won't want him in the least. Try to remember what he did to you.
