sure. i can't imagine someone being intimidated by me, but i can't hold someone's feelings against them. maybe it's not just me they are intimated by and there is a deeper reason why they have those feelings, it's not for me to judge.

This "respect" sounds like you've done time. Everyone comes out of prison talking about "respecting". If so, get over it - now you're back in the real world. You and anyone else should get the respect they deserve, and no one should intimidate others.

respect the person who is intimidated? depends on whether i want to intimidate them in the first place. if it wasnt intentional i would like to know why the feel intimidated is that respect? if my intention was to intimidate them in the first place then no i would not respect them or i wouldnt feel the need to intimidate them.

Well....I've never sensed anyone being intimidated by me, but I try to be respectful of others regardless.

If you mean, respect that person, I think it takes a concious effort to do so when they're intimidated by you.

yes, because that is my goal. And if they are intimidated by me, then I have nothing but respect for them.

NO, that's a load of BS, I just want them to respect me first, then I return the favor

I think it's obvious. People respect "strong" people. You know you are only human and if you intimidate someone, it automatically induces contempt in you.

I suppose so, but I don't see why someone would be intimidated by me really.....

(somehow I knew this was your question)
