There are nine species of Adansonia: one grows in Australia, one in Africa, and seven are restricted to the island of Madagascar.

I have only seen the Australian version Brachychiton repestris which is known as the bottle tree and gets a massively swollen trunk.

They are easy to get here and grow from seed easily to.

I used to manage a nursery and was able to get just about any plants that customers wanted, so go and have a chat with some one at your local garden store.

They are the coolest tree. You may have a difficult time importing any seed from Africa. I know some exist in Miami. Maybe someone there sells them. Getting them from within the US would avoid the difficulties involved in importing plant products from other countries.
