Coolest instrument IMO: Banjo
Most attractive IMO : for girl- Fiddle, for guy: harmonica (blues style)

As for sexy, probably bass.
I think playing the drums is the coolest though, drummers are not always recognized in the popular bands. But they lay down the beat, tempo, and rhythm for every song. Also, when someone asks you what instrument you play, and you tell them drums, they usually become very interested in you. So drums may have the attractive bit down.
