you don't - instead, you get other modes of travel through the game. eventually, you'll get another airship

it really doesn't make sense that you can park an airship just anywhere, and not have people come and raid your ship while you're out

after the ship got destroyed, you'll eventually be given a sea going vessel, a regular ship that travels on water. a short while later, that will be given the ability to take to the skies, because you're going to have to travel to the real world, instead of the land that you start in

just play the game normally, and whenever you're supposed to be able to get somewhere, you'll be able to

It's a complicated journey, I think you get a new airship after Hyne's castle, but that is still a while away, after getting the Fire Crystal jobs, which you get after you get the ship, which you get after you clear the Mini dungeon. It takes a while.
