I had complete placenta previa this last year, and everything went great. It is hard not to worry, but we are so advanced now in medical technology. I focused on the journey, and lots of jokes about being part of the exclusive Placenta Previa Sorority. If you have any questions about CPP, I can tell you my experience. Hugs!

They told me i had placenta previa when i went in for my 20th week checkup (after having the U/S for my maternal screening) I was scared shitless. I did a ton of reading on the effects and complications of placenta previa and scared myself even more. At 28 weeks they gave me another U/S and even though I still have placenta previa, seeing my baby on that monitor was enough to put me at ease. Knowing the doctors are taking good care of the situation and your baby is thriving and doing well is generally a good way to stay calm. Try picking up a doppler, or doppler-like system that will let you hear your baby's heartbeat. :)

While I didn't have plecenta previa I did have a high risk pregnancy with twins. The one thing that I had to keep in mind was that if I kept my stress level under control it was better for the babies. Try some relaxation techniques and take a deep breath. Everything will turn out fine! Good luck!
