I totally disagree with that ******* ignorant jerk first it depends on the father or mother the way they see the life if their child has mental problems it doesn t mean that the parents will have better feelings it´ such a big risponsability that means that you will have to care a baby for the rest of your life there are people that would like to deal with that and there are other people that have problems and it´s difficult for them to carry all that package.

Why would you think it would ruin someones life?

This is the ignorance us mothers have to face everyday!@ I am a mother of a 5 month olf beautiful baby girl whom has downs syndrome. I had not known she would have DS and it was a shock but honestly She has brightened my life and showed me something new she showed me that love is unconditional regardless if everything is not perfect and I love my child and everyone elses DS child they are beautiful and deserve to be treated like any other baby.

What a totally ignorant question!

Everyone including those with down 's syndrome or any kind of disability has something to contribute to society.

It may not be something big , they may not become famous, but they may just be the best brother, sister, parent, friend, colleague, boss in the world.

I think probably disabled people contribute more to the world at any time than ignorant questions like your's , who died and made you think you're the end all and be all.

You learn patience and unconditional love from those with intellectual handicaps, something you 'll probably never figure out.

That's going to entirely depend on how you handle it.

If you choose to see it as a horrible hardship, it will ruin your life.

If you choose to see your child as an amazing gift, then you'll end up being a better person.

More than likely, some days you'll feel that your life is ruined, and some days, you'll think God was smiling on you.

My Niece is down's and the joy of all our lives. Because?? She's SPECIAL.
Admittedly they do need a lot of attention and supervision than normal kids, which is draining.
I admire my brotherinlaw who is a single parent raising her with no help from the mother who abandoned her.
I think she has enriched all our lives and has made us all very humble.
If you have a down's baby, what are you going to do?...Hand her back?

i think that all depends on whether u want a child in ur life in the first place. if u want a child, no disability will make u love it any less, and they will enrich ur life tremendously.if u don't want a child, no amount of perfection will make the child's presence acceptable.
