I have been appalled today reading the comments of one member in particular that 'fly in the face' of several of the rules/guidelines of this site. Yet they remain a member, despite spewing hate, derogatory racially offensive terms and abjectly ERRONEOUS so-called facts.

Is there no method aside from 'reporting' which I have done [and all I get is a canned email in response].

I respect diffferent viewpoints and have not that thin a skin and seek to help, education and learn myself, but too much is too much.

I can not agree with you more on this subject. I am also appalled by some of these responses that people give. And just to get two points. Every time I see such a response I report the answer. That is all I can do in the mean time until someone in Yahoo! gets more active in maintaining the guidelines.

It takes time to weed out people... The yahoo answers is fairly new, the oly things you can do is report them or ignore them. Some members probablly do get banned.. but yahoo is free.. they sign up for a new ID and thy are back... Just handle ignorance like as if in anyother situation... they are looking to get reactions... dont satisfy them.

We all must just keep reporting people like this. Yahoo can't read every single post, and apparently they can't even keep up with all the abuse reports, but that is no reason not to keep trying. Some abusive members do get removed.

There is a lot of hipocrism online. Yes, it is disgusting when people show their lack of knowledge by spounting racial shots and they should be kicked off. But then again it is always ok when people bad mouth President Bush. Where are the rules in that case??

That's all we could do. Report them or just ignore them.
Don't let them get into you. They're the ones who look stupid and ignorant.

Let them continue, least we forget that these scumbags exist.
Then we would be in trouble.
Just don't descend to their level and embarrass yourself.
