I'm going to India in February, and I'm planning to wear my long underwear anyway as I usually do. It looks better for dressing up. But with the amount of sun in the arid regions around Delhi and Rajasthan where I will be, and the maleria mosquitoes, I want one more layer of protection under my long sleeved shirts and long pants. It should not be too hot as the weather information I got indicates that temperatures there are around room temperature.

actully it would be better if you didn't wear under for a long time you should change your under wear like almost everyday or i feel real dirty

go for it. Can't hurt, and you can always take them off if it's too hot.
