Not really - the only ways would be to hold the phone further away or always use it in a place with a strong signal.
I really would not worry about it, the heating is trivial and there is no reason to think phones cause any illness. Think of the billions of phones out there, if there was any effect then it would be obvious. If there is a danger it so small that you might as well ignore it and worry about more likely issues like being hit by lightning several times in 1 day.

Wrap your head in foil--just like you wrap something in the microwave that you don't want to cook. Something like Butters' (frok South Park) Dr. Chaos helmet should do the trick.

Truth be told, though, the heat your head absorbs from a cell phone is completely insignificant compared to the heat it absorbs from a million other environmental sources. Even if you slept all night with an early-80s model cell phone, you'd be ok. The only people I've heard of that have been harmed by microwaves were stupid enough to put their bodies in front of antennas broadcasting many megawatts of energy.

Use a head set, or communicate only by text, or just don't use it, or better yet, don't worry about it, I don't think it's killed anyone yet.
