I'm sure it will be romantic, but is there anything I can do to make sure it's the best Valentine's Day she'll ever have. ie. things to do before and/or after check in, romantic places to go etc. I want this year to be really special.

embassy suites? i stay there for normal hotel stays. if you want something nicer go to the W. or try the island hotel in newport beach. maybe the marimont hotel on sunset. make sure to get a tub in the room. and to spice it up, get some under bed restraints.

I would definitely reccommend taking her to Long Beach (which is not too far from anaheim) for a gondola ride -- very, very romantic!! The rides are done in the evening and I believe the last appointment for the night is at 10pm. A gondalier sails you around the canals in Long Beach while seranading the couple. My husband surprised me with this when we were dating, and it was the most romantic and memorable experience I've ever had. He brought along our favorite wine and some chocolate covered strawberries to give me while we were snuggled up under some blankets on the gondola. We cuddled and kissed and enjoyed and had a romantic time under the night sky. Do your wife a favor and definitely look into this. I don't remember the name of the company, so you might have to put a little effort into finding it out, but definitely worth it!

Have chocolate covered strawberries and Champagne waiting in the room before you arrive, along with a bouquet of roses.. Sometimes, a concierge can make arrangements to have rose petals scattered around the room. And if you're willing to give a nice tip, room service can set up a romantic candlelight dinner in your room while ya'll go for a walk (or something to get her out of the room for an hour or so). Believe me bro......it works!

you can go to the room ahead of time and put a tray of fresh fruit and champagne (whipped cream!) and rose petals! If the Hotel has a spa you can request a couples massage.

My husband did that for my birthday one time. He took me to a fancy French restaurant where he had arranged, in advance, to have a classy little birthday cake made with my name on it. You could do the same with Valentines. He also bought me some gifts, but I can't tell you what they were on here.

Someone did that for me once, and also boxed and wrapped a beautiful lingerie set for me (not trampy - or garters, etc, just a lovely silk set). He set it on the bed when I was unpacking.

Champagne, you give her massage, oral, and then a soak in the tub. After that, she is all yours buddy.
