F**k Pujols. He's an HGH using ******.

Definitely not. Pujols isn't a bad guy, and LaRussa isn't a bad coach. Albert has his own charity for people with Down Syndrome, and he works hard every game. Like someone else said before, he thought he deserved the MVP, he did, had he not pulled the hammy, it would have been his (Howard's season was great, don't get me wrong, I'd be the first guy to tell you I want him in my No. 4 spot)

I've been watching LaRussa coach for years now, listening to his interviews, reading his quotes in articles, etc and have never percieved him as conceited. Therefore, I'm wondering why you conjecture LaRussa would be the cause or Pujols' alleged conceitedness. I agree with the answer above me... Pujols gives him teammates credit, his manager and coaches credit, and does do a lot of charity work for the community. I disagree on both accounts.

Pujols is one of the good guys in baseball. he is a decent family man, does good work for his charity and the town of St. Louis and his new restaurant has the best fajitas in the St. Louis area.
Also - LaRussa is doing a nice job too.

Larussa? Really? Why him, he couldn't control Canseco, Henderson or McGwire, why should anyone expect him to control Pujols too? Besides, is Pujols really that bad? I think that most sports writers just make stuff or instigate problems in the first place.

TLR has nothing to do with Pujols temperment.
The guy is getting a big head,I live in St. Louis and there are areas he can work on to be the best ballplayer he can be.Firstly,he needs to watch his base coaches,he never gives a look to the 3rd base coach, and constantly runs through stop signs

How do you figure Pujols is conceited. Don't believe everything you hear on ESPN, They can twist and turn a stroy anyway they want to. I Live in St. Louis and let me tell you Pujols is a Great person. He is always doing Charity work and donating his time.

This is a stupid bias question. Pujols has his own charity group, it helps kids with mental illnesses get through life. Yeah, Pujols has said he deserved this past NL MVP award, which he clearly deserved. He had his best year in the majors and gave it to Ryan Howard who is nowhere near Pujols's level.

So by your way of thinking, we should blame Brown for Iverson, Multipule coaches for T.O., and once again LaRussa for McGwire and the Loudmouth loser Canseco.... And last but not least BARROID, but the list of people this IDIOT ran out of town is too long to get into!!

I think Pujols just vented and feels he deserved more accoloades for this season. These are adults who speak their own minds. La Russa couldn't be the reason.

Actions speak louder than words so this would STILL make Pujols a good guy.
