If you are referring to a warranty repair to the "drive train", then the pressure plate and clutch disk are excluded since they are considered wear items like brake pads. However in a general sense they are part of the drivetrain.
The clutch slave cylinder can be included under most warranties.

The pressure plate is part of the clutch, and is considered drivetrain.
The slave cylinder is part of the braking system, and is not part of the drivetrain.
If your being told the pressure plate is worn out, the mechanic is talking out of his a**. The drive plate will be dead long before the pressure plate.

Yesit is, but not the clutch plate or pressure plate for "under warranty" repair, since they have no control over how the clutch is used.

Maybe not the slave cylinder. But try and control the clutch without it! :-)=
