your daghter is 18 years old and can do what she wants, in reality she is no longer a child so you can't really make or have anyone make her go home..I left home when i was 14 years old and i certainly was not ready, i messed up my life by leaving and i wish i never did. im only 21 and i have no children so i'm not experienced like you are, i am just telling you how i felt i think your daughter will realize that she can't make it on her own and she will come back i would just give her time... how long has she been gone, does she have a job? have her own place? or live with friends ect? she'll get sick of it. I went thorugh the same thing....I hope everything works out for you

I'm assuming from the sketchy information given, that your autistic daughter does not live at home?....if she is in danger of hurting herself or others?... than you can have the courts consider her disabled to the point of needing confinement. Is there a social worker who follows her case? THey need to investigate and perhaps help her take better are of her personal hygiene. Call the public health departemnt and discuss this with them.

if you are in the U.K. I don't think you have any rights to bring har hame especially if she has her own social worker and is under the care of the social services. Know it is hard but I think all you can do is speak with her social worker and/or doc and support your daughter the best you can from a distance

contact the social services her doctor and any body else who has to deal with her, you may be able to get her returned if you can prove she is incapable of caring for herself,
