This would be acceptable -

According to the definition on Answers.com (2007), blah, blah, blah.....

Reference listing -

Answers.com (2007) TITLE OF THE PAGE, URL, DATE RETRIEVED

Tips -

Always looks for an author on the website. About 1/2 the time, you'll find a name. If no name, use the website producer (Answers.com). Or, use anonymous.

Look for the date of the material at the bottom of the page. If you can't find the date, use the current year. Or use "n.d." - no date.

ALWAYS include the page title. Should be on top of page.

ALWAYS include the complete URL. Copy it from the address bar.

ALWAYS include the date/time you retrieved the article.

Here is the APA formatting link I use for my APA papers.

http://www.noodletools.com/index.html

Click on Noodlebib Express
Click on APA
and then use the drop down menus to determine the appropriate citations.

Type in "apa style" to Google, and the first or second link will be called "owl purdue" (sp?) which is a really good guide to APA formatting.
