I will really appreciate any help. I don't know where to start to find out how to become a spanish teacher specially because I am not familiar with american credits.

I am a Spanish teacher in the U.S. Although it differs from state to state, most have alternative license programs. My brother, who also teaches Spanish followed alternative plan. Basically, to teach a foreign language you have to have a certain amount of college credits in that language, and then you have to pass a series of tests in the language for speaking writing content knowledge, culture and pedagogy usually. You can try looking up the department of education website for the state your interested in for more info!
