Don't tell me that it was the Iraqi Government that hanged Saddam, Because any one with any kind of political awareness and knowledge can tell you that the Iraqi Government is a poodle of Us. Every political analyst is pointing fingures towards the US for involvement in Saddam's hanging.

It wasn't the fact he was punished that is the disputed issue, it's the fact he was hung. If they were smart, they'd have locked him in a cell for the rest of his life. And it doesn't help that history has shown lenience towards figures much worse than Saddam. Amin is in exile, Napolean was exiled, Stalin died of a seizure, need I say more? Life imprisonment would be a lot less controversial, and probably a worse punishment, too.

Saddam Hussein was put on trial in a duly elected Iraqi Court and the Iraqi Government,
which IS NOT a puppet or poodle of the US Government, and the Iraqi Government which
was elected by the Iraqi People, carried out the
sentence handed down by the Iraqi Court and the Iraqi Government, not the US Government,
HUNG Saddam Hussein!!!!

It is not true. There is lots of evidence that American and British diplomats urged a delay in Saddam's execution and that the Iraqi government went ahead without consulting the Americans.

Did you ever meet Saddam??? It was seriously so wrong to hang him? What is the big deal. Your question has absolutely no relevance. It is merely an attempt to take a shot at America and the war and it's pathetic. The Iraqis REJOICED in that day! Something is wrong with people who cry "oh the poor TERRORISTS" Who gives a crap...I hope he rots in hell.

1. Iraq hanged Saddamy. Iraqi Shi'a worked the gallows.
2. If the POTUS ordered the massacre of 168,000 Americans and starved out 1.5 million Americans, I wouldn't care if he were hanged on Christmas Day or Independence Day.

A quarter of America would be dancing in the street, untl they realize CHeney's now president.

a quarter of the population would be indignant. THey would be outraged and make him a martyr. HE would be a hero who stopped terrorism.

Another quarter would not care if he got hanged or not, and go on with their lives.

THe last quarter wouldn't even know he got hanged.

THe Iraqi government did hang him. We might of made some arrangement with the government, but the shiites really want to screw it to the Sunnis, and might have done some of the things to piss them off. If America ran the show, the Hanging would be different. THe US army was pretty pissed it was a public affair. THey would want it private so there wouldn't be so much rioting.

First of all I don't think it matters that Saddam was hanged on the day of Christmas being that Iraq is predominantly NOT CHRISTIAN. Secondly, In the U.S. the death penalty is not carried out by hanging and our president has not been convicted of any crimes for which he has been sentenced to death so your comparison really does not make any sense.

It was the Iraqi Government that hanged Saddam.

Well that might be what your masters are telling you but we have a rediculously free press here and they indicated the US did not want it done and if you think that the US is running Iraq you need to listen someone else but the guy who owns you. You need to accept that so that you will stay motivated to keep killing kids and housewives. they don't seem to do too much in concert with the US there and I don't think we expect them to do too much. The major difference I guess would be that we are able to get rid of a President with free elections in the US and you guys just wait for someone to tell you that God told them for you to go out and kill your countrymen. Good luck on that 50 virgin thing in paradise.

We would not let it happen. Even if you do not like George Bush, he never did anything that Saddam did. Sure my brothers are still fighting a war, but Saddam murdered, not sent soldiers off to die, but murdered them.

If someone tried to even capture George Bush, they would have to do so on American soil. It won't happen. No one will mass an army and invade America. They will just keep using acts of terror to try and hurt us, and for that they can gofuckthemselves.
