i like a boy from school....but my friends think that he is not for me and i should forget him...what do i have to do?listen to my friends or do what my heart tells me to do?...

i think you should follow your heart! but if your friends have some Strong reason why you shouldn't be with him, for example if he is some maniac or he would break your heart, than you should listen to your friends. I'm sure they only want good for you. BUT...I had one problem, that my friend told me all bad tings about my love and next week she become his girlfriend! ask your friends about their reasons why you shouldn't be with him, and if their reasons are stupid, than follow your heart. but be care full. you don't want to be hurt!

See your problem is your thinking more of winning or loosing not playing the game. When I ask out a girl wether or not she turns me down I get full of excitement like I just saved the world or something. I also get emotional support from my friends, and if I don't get the balls to ask a girl out, they go up to her and tell her I like her. So it's either ask her out, or get embarresed by my friends for them asking for me.
Guys don't get asked out enough. All throughout history it's been men asking women out. And men opening doors. And men paying for dinner. It's always nice to have a women ask us out.
I say do it. Even if he turns you down, you can walk away knowing you atleast tried. Also it will improove your game for future relationships. The worst he can do is turn you down. And isn't that better then never knowing, and always wondering what could have been? Besides it's not like your hurting him right?
It's always nice to know someone wants us even if we don't want them.

Go with your heart. Why care what others think of you, if they are your real friends, then they will support whatever choices you make in life.

Sometimes friends can see things others cannot. For instance, you might not see what he really is and they do. You never know. Ask more people other than your friends. See what they think of him. It could be your friends' reluctance to let you go.

Pursue him and see for yourself if he's really worth the trouble. If he turns out to be a jerk you can always dump him and move on to someone else. Experience gains knowledge.
