Don't make him"fat", my daughter had a teddy bear hamster, very sweet and friendly. She was kind of big, but I just thought she was extra fluffy. We only fed her high quality hamster food, the occasional treat and the occasional fresh fruit or veggie. We woke up one morning to find her dead, stuck in one of her tunnels. Hamster accessories are not made for "Fluffy" hamsters and can be dangerous. Not to mention, I'm sure fat hamsters are no more healthy than fat people. Good Luck, and I hope you consider what is best for your pet and not what you think might be a little cuter

Why do you want him fatter? If the vet says he's healthy just leave him be. I'm appalled that you are even asking this question. You fatten him up and you will be subjecting him to a multitude of health problems, including early death. Leave his weight right as it is the vet knows better. I have raised over 75 hamsters in just the last few years and I listen to and trust my vet. If you truly care for your hamster then leave his weight alone otherwise find him another home where he'll be cared for by someone who is happy with his "healthy" weight. I got some of my hamster through people who couldn't care for them properly.

If your vet said he was healthy, why mess with that?....Overweight is not healthy and causes many complications and problems for the health and happiness of you hamster....however, sunflower seeds have more fat than most other seeds for your hamster, but feed in moderation and remember, healthy means your litter teddy bear hamster will live longer and happier....good luck

heres an very inventive idea:
- attach a dynamo to your hamsters wheel attached to a light bulb. Now when your hamster runs on his wheel the light'll swich on so then he'll stop running! and put in lots of hamster food and cheese!

Keep feeding it. But don't feed it so much to the point it will die because then there is no point of trying to make it fatter.

replave his water with full fat milk, put a bit of diluted sugar in as well.
Also, feed him butter mixed with sugar..
double whipped cream... **** loads of the highiest calories cheese. (it's hard to over feed a hamster, as they have pouches in the side of ther mouthes.(don't take the wheel away or he'll get hyper!!)
I made mine fat for a laugh once.
somep people fatten their rodents up to make i.e. :

Take his wheel away, put Coca-Cola in his waterbottle, and feed him Cheetos all the time. He'll definitely put on some weight.
