No, it is not legal to torture in the US... that does not stop the Bush administration and proponents of the Patriot Act from getting it done, however.

They just have people tortured outside the US.....

Shows you the kind of people we have running this country these days...

Whether it is legal or not torture (and even killing) is being applied in American prisons in Iraq and Guantanamo.

No it's never been legal. They do a good job of it in the prison system though.

no its not legal when I went to boot camp the drill sargents couldn't even cuss at us .. I think that's really stupid if we fight we need to fight hard not cry about or rights... terrorist don't care if your feelings get hurt
