I say Clyde because he took WAY less shots and dished out a lot more assists. Clyde could have put up the scoring that Kobe does if he took more shots and passed less. Clyde was also a great defender and was really classy.

I agree that Kobe is a great player, but if you say Kobe is "hands down better", you obviously don't know basketball.

Clyde Drexler was a top 3 player in the league for a long time and never was truly recognized for it. People talk about "team player" in this post, well, how did Jordan make the team better ha? 30 shots a night and 15 shots from the line by himself? Anyway, if I had to pick Id take Bryant because I feel he is a better defensive player. Drexler was unbelievable though

Clyde was great in his prime but Kobe is still a more gifted player than Drexler. But Drexler was more of a team player where w/Kobe he just becoming a team player 10 yrs into the league.

You're out of your mind if you really need to ask it. I lived in Oregon for 20 years, watched COUNTLESS Blazer games. Went to the finals one year. But my opinion means as much as everyone elses, let's look at what MJ said about Drexler:

"If Clyde hit his first couple shots, I knew I was in for a good night because he's shoot himself out of it, but keep shooting. If Joe (Dumars) hits his first couple, it's going to be a long night."

Basically Jordan was saying what people who understand the game know. Drexler was a sub-par shooter. Terrible 3pt shooter. Fantastic athelete.

Kobe is a very good shooter, fantastic athelete, and one of the most prolific scorers the game has ever known. If I have to choose who to give the ball to in the clutch and my choices are Clyde or Kobe, Kobe's getting it every single time.

it depends on what aspect of the game your comparing it on. I would say Kobe just cause kobe has so much talent, even though he doesn't always use it to pass or be that great of a team player. However I still think Kobe is above and beyond alot of the players, I just can't stand his personality like when arenas droped like 58 points on him and then kobe said he was taking "bad" shots. Kobe need to shut up and just do what he does.

I am a huge Kobe fan.
I think he's better, but I wouldn't see hands down.

Clyde is a better team player, but Kobe has a better basketball talent, if you are saying who's better at basketball, I think Kobe, he's got more ability.
Kobe's shots have reasons, he had to take them, and I think he's getting better at being a team player this season.

I loved Clyde's game, but they're not even close. Kobe's got three rings, plays better D, and scores tons more.

Kobe is more suitable constructive than Drexler grow to be in his properly. Kobe has a lot more suitable of a killer instinct than Drexler had. (in case you do not imagine it is genuine, then you honestly've in trouble-free words considered highights of Drexler dunking, and under no circumstances talked about him play in his properly). Drexler led Portland to the finals two times, dropping in 5 video games to the Pistons in 1990 and in six video games to the Bulls in 1992. In 1990, the Blazers chop up the first 2 video games in Detroit, in trouble-free words to grow to be the first team to lose all 3 "midsection video games" on their abode courtroom. Drexler could no longer have allowed that to take position. He allowed the Pistons to comb the Blazers on their abode courtroom in Portland. After the ninety finals, I wisely expected that Drexler would under no circumstances LEAD his team to a acceptance (he at last did win one, with Olajuwon most popular the way). Drexler's accepted season and playoff scoring averages were the exact same, 20.4 factors in accordance to pastime. no longer that that is undesirable, yet because the superb participant on his team, he mandatory to declare himself obtainable more suitable than he did. there is fairly no reason to imagine Houston does no longer have gained the call in 95 inspite of out Drexler, as that that they had gained all of it the year earlier, and Michael grow to be no longer a element in the playoffs, having re-joined the Bulls previous due that season, following a disastrous baseball "occupation". of direction, at 20 ppg, Drexler grow to be no longer the scorer that Kobe (24 ppg) grow to be. To be honest, Drexler's 20 ppg popular contains the decline section to his occupation, which Kobe hasn't hit yet. If the properly 50 gamers in NBA historic previous were chosen immediately, Drexler does no longer be on the record any more suitable. Drexler had Jordan-like skills (few people truly knew this because he performed in Portland). Clyde grow to be a more suitable constructive passer and rebounder than Jordan. Jordan grow to be a more suitable constructive on-the-ball defender, yet Drexler grow to be more suitable constructive at taking section in the passing lanes. He must have approached the 1992 Finals hostile to Michael as a own project. Drexler did not always maximize his skills. And he did not take the video games onto his shoulders the way Kobe does. If he had, he would have gained more suitable rings than he did, given the skills he had round him.
