Thinking of going for L-Day weekend and wondering how the weather was since they say september usually has the most hurricanes.

If you go to Cancún, in January, february, march, april, may, june, july, august, sept, oct, nov, dec...IT'S EXCELLENT! and beautiful, even of hurricanes :)

i was there (Cancun) in 9-06. it is very very hot. like high 80s to 90s. it was pretty unbearable. i would not go back in Sept. again. i really like heat too! that was just too hot. we came out of the room to go to the beach or shopping and in 10 min or less your clothes are soaked and you're cranky. i am going to Acapulco in march. i hear that is better weather, like mid 80s.

Been south of there in Belize. That is a little more rustic & cheaper. It was nice
