I've never heard of those being signs. To be totally honest, sounds like you do have the flu. And you need to see the doctor immediately, to get some medicine and make sure you're not dehydrated. Good Luck!

You probably just have the flu. Do you have other symptoms like contractions? Is your baby still active? Read up on early signs of labor and call your doctor or advice nurse before making an appointment. I'm not sure why everyone thinks it's necessary to run to the doctor when you have mild flu like symptoms. Your doctor will let you know if he wants you to come in for an examination. In the meantime, drink plenty of fluids and get some rest. Good luck!

Ummm...backache and diarrhea CAN be signs of labor. I would ask your doctor. Who cares if it is a false alarm. Better safe than sorry.
On a side note, the flu IS going around, but I would still want to make sure it isn't labor.

sounds like the good old flu going around right now. Labor is different symptoms combined. I'm not saying its not possible, but its unlikely. I would be more worried if you had contractions, cramps, leaking of fluid or bleeding. It wouldn't hurt to have your doctor check you, tho.

sounds like the flu and the lower back pain can be from dehydration. I would call your doctor right away. Diarrhea can be very dehydrating, so start taking in lots of fluids in the meantime.
