The Fiream will be kept in the Pursers Safe, or some safe onboard. If I was skipper of a ship I would not permit passengers to carry firearms.I am not to certain that your US Permit to carry Concealed is honored in V.I. But call there Consulate and ask before you get into any trouble.

Best best is to send the cruise ship company a email asking them. Also why go somwhere that you would feel so unsafe that you need to take a gun with you? If you want to protect your self take up boxing but be carefull If you hit some one and they die you can go to jail because the court will say that your hands where the weapon.

the only weapon I carry is my hands.

Nope you can carry it basically anywhere else including on planes if you tell them that you have one and have the paperwork or the permit with you but you cant take it on a cruise, and you owuldnt want to, I mean its suppossed to be fun and nothing bad would happen, their safe.

No you are not allowed to bring it on the ship. The same rules apply to ships as the airlines.
