If you're receiving SSD then your children are entitled to receive payments on your behalf in leiu of child support (without reducing your benefit). Contact your social security dept and start a claim on behalf of the child/ren. Then contact your CSA and advise them.
If you're speaking of short term disability thru an insurance program, child support will be deducted from your payments.

Yes. Just because you may become disabled, children still have needs and require support to survive. When your income changes substantially, the courts can review it and lower the payments to suit your new circumstances, but you are always responsible for helping to support (and ultimately care) for your children.

why would you want to get out of paying child support? or back-owed child support? sounds like you need to suck it up support your child/ren.
