Somewhat; but yes, please direct your attention to the mythology board...
I, for one, most certainly could use some support there "clarifying" the misunderstandings of popular myths/supernatural beliefs in our society (the lack of critical thinking there leads me to tears)

have notice when someone ask a question about an alternative
science category,usually are answered by more detractors ,than people interested in the subject,however everyone can post their own views,
about them, even if, they don't agree with the topic,but in a proper manner,and some may say some jokes too,but it can be discerned, when the question is posted in that context,which is fine,but not all the question are kind of jokes,its a childish kind
of behavior,when they act like that ,;-taking consideration for the people who ask it will be a good thing to do,and for the record: this is not a critic,its an observation.
