when you go into avatars go on top on the right hand side click preferences.it will say change gender. you can do it from there

I went to yahoo 360 started an account there, searched on yahoo for free avatars. found me one, went back to yahoo 360 and uploaded the avatar that I found. then came here to answers and selected edit my info, and checked the use 360 picture. hope this helps. I answered a question in y-answers and was called a stud muffin, so I got a girly avatar. hope this helps.
