Have seen a lot of what's out there in the mainstream - so please don't suggest those.

We don't care much for violence.

Foriegn is fine.

So you know my taste - some of my favorite films include: Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Being There, Wrestling Ernest Hemingway and Life is Beautiful.

Fantasy: Finding neverland,Big fish

Drama:The girl with the pearl earring, Memoirs of a geisha

Comedy: Alphie, Bidget jones diaries
Some others I like :Signs, Serenity for sci fi it is funny but really cool.It was a series but there is a movie.If you can get both

if you like foreign movies i suggest the french movie "Amelie", it's very sweet and funny. Or the "white chicks" which is a fine comedy.
