drain it and put the right fluid back in - and whatever you do don't get any brake fluid near the paint - it will eat right through it - even a finger print with brake fluid will do it. clean any off immediately.

No Moron. Lot's of people use transmission fluid for power steering fluid. Brake fluid will eat the seals.
Drain it, fill it, drive around form a while and repeat several times to flush it out.

Suck out as much as you can with a rubber bulb turkey baster and refill with the correct fluid. Drive it for a day or two, then do it again. Do it a third time and the percentage of brake fluid left will be miniscule, and you'll have new steering fluid to boot!!.

I saw on a car show on TV that lots of people use brake fluid for brakes, clutch, and power steering. Seems to work OK for all, but use what is recommended for your car and be safe. Brake fluid workes in brakes with rubber hoses, gasgets, seals, and O'rings, etc - so it is unlikely to damage power steering pump or any seals, etc. To be sure take a turkey baster and get it out and put in what is supposed to be there.
