I'm on the pill, and have been for the last 9/10 months. I had a scare last month, and was just wondering if it was actually possible to fall pregnant while taking the pill.

Thanks

particular it is. it is obtainable to get pregnant collectively as taking the pill, employing a condom, and a diaphragm all on a similar time. particular antibiotics can do away with the end result that the pill has. additionally, in case you bypass an afternoon or do no longer take it always on a similar time, it ought to loose its effectiveness. no longer something is a hundred% secure different than for abstinence.

Yep I got pregnant twice while on the pill. After the first baby the doctors changeed the pill to a high hormone level and then I got pregnant again.

It is only 99% the only sure way is not to have sex.

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant here https://tr.im/Rvbwq
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

Yes, it is possible to become pregnant on the pill. It is 99.9% effective if taken correctly,so there is always 0.1% chance, and it's effectiveness decreases if there are missed pills or they are not taken at exactly the same time each day. There also could be other drug interactions that decrease it's effectivness as well.

Oh, and my first, who is now 3 years old, was concieved while I was on the pill. So, YES! It can happen :)

yes it is possible. if you miss any pills or are taking antibiotics it can cause the pill to become less effective. also if your body becomes too used to the dosage of the pill it can also become ineffective, but that usually happens if the dosage of hormones is too low for you or if you have been on a particular pill for a long time. hope this helped!

Its possible, but not too likely if you take it as prescribed. Usually people end up getting pregnant while on birth control, when they're taking an anti-biotic. Most people dont know that, if your sick or something and on birth control and an antibiotic, the antibiotic voids out the birth control.

It happened to my friend, and was confirmed by a doctor that that was the reason.

yes it is possible because nothing is 100% safe. your body might not take correctly to the pill and you might end up with a little bundle dont get yourself in a panic over it. if you are not sure then take extra protection just to keep your mind at rest.

It most certainly is possible. The pill is only 99.9 % effective when taken properly. It's effectiveness can be decreased by some medications, such as antibiotics.
