There aren't any games in 1080p but both are capable of it.
The feature is mostly for the HD DVD and the Blu-Ray discs with 1080p games on the way.

PS3 is supposed to supported 1080p but it can't do it yet because of hardware bug. Microsoft released an updated for the xbox 360 a few weeks ago that enable 1080p support for the xbox 360.

They can both go up to 1080p, but you need to download the latest patch from XBL to get to 1080p.
Currently, I don't believe there are any 360 games that goes up to 1080p.
PS3 has NBA 07, the one with Kobe on the cover, which goes up to 1080p.

mine are ...but there is one prerequisite - a tv that displays 1080p.
