the baby will be fine the birth control is made to stop you from getting pregnant but it can't stop it if you were already pregnant your baby will not get harmed they get tested for things like that before that are able to be given. good luck with that guy hope he either gets back with you or at least is in the babies life good luck again.

well I am not sure you need to talk to your doc. I know the shots are not good for you while you are preg. but you did not know...I think everything will be fine. The baby is the first guys I think because he is the first one you had sex with right? I also need to tell you that you are only 14 and being on B/C does not protect you from STD's and things like that!! Anyone can get them and you can go without symptoms and still have them. That is why you and your mom and the doc's need to have a long talk after this preg to insure you do not have any STD'd or this does not happen again I am also sorry but that is the reason that so many parents do not want there child on B/C because they think it is a ok to go and sleep with whoever they want and it is not. I think you need to grow up and realize sex has caused you to now have a child and change you and your body and your family forever!!

You need to get your hormones straightened out and get on prenatal vitamins. The birth control shots contain hormones that might be bad for the baby but I have not heard of any birth defects from it. You need to talk to a councelor and a doctor. You've messed up the first six months but make sure you do the right thing for the next 18 years.

Just keep going to your prenatal appointments. It's time to face reality and start doing what's right for the baby.

Just need to add. Just because you're on birth control doesn't mean you shouldn't use protection. Don't you know about sexually transmitted diseases, especially AIDS which can KILL you? If at 14 years old you need to have sex, at least be smart and protect yourself. Grow up and realize that you are not invincible.Good luck!

Have your mom take you to a doctor as soon as possible. The baby is probably okay, but you still need to have prenatal checkups from here on. Good luck. And wait after this baby. Respect your body.

Sweetie, talk to your OB/GYN. They can do all sorts of tests to see if there is anything wrong with your baby. You should get blood work done yourself, just so that you can make sure that you don't have any STD's. It sounds like your mom is supportive. Congrats on that!

at 14 u shouldn't even be thinking about sex or having sex ,keep on going to the doctor and be careful not to let history repeat itself.

you really need to talk to you doctor about that, I am not shure if being on the shot will cause complications or not.
