I would assume you have got to get into the menu and change it to English, a couple of translators

Hello,
(ANS) Within the Tom Tom One Satnav, once you have loaded up the system. You should find an option on one of the sub menues that allows you to select a language.
**See the Preferences Menu, (4 out of 7), Languages option. You just need to re-select english and then probably shut the device down and restart it and it should start in english after that.

get some one how has the same tomtom go to the setings on the english one and when you toch the screen touch the screen on the german one as well and keep doing it in till you get to the language and select english and do the same on the german one and then it will go to english

go into the change preferences menu..
you can select to change the voice,maps,and the languages,
it is pretty easy. is it only the voice that's in German?? you may need to change the map preference too.
