I had never seen any of the other Rocky movies...But now I almost want to. Rocky Balboa is by no means a 'good movie.' Stalone can't really act, and for the most part he is quite freightening to look at. But for some reason I enjoyed watching. There are parts where you laugh your butt off (when its suppose to be serious) because the script is sooo cheesy. But the idea and moral of the story is worth the trip out to the theatre.
What I was really impressed with was the soundtrack. It was amazing. They found so many clever ways to play the 'Rocky Theme' with different instruments and at different speeds. The slow piano version is almost moving.

if youre a fan of the francise,this wont dissapoint,its based on the first rocky film! stallone does look a bit frightning without his shirt on now ,but he is nearly 60? after the sham of rocky 5, this is a good send off for rocky balboa,roll on rambo 4?

If you saw the original Rocky you will probably enjoy it, it is pretty good. Not the best movie this year but well worth your time.

well i havent seen any of the other rockys and was forced to watch this one with my boyfriend and he absolutly loved it and i have to say i thought it was pretty good too.
he is like a die hard fan and grew up loving Rocky so if you are i know u'll LOVE it.

I haven't seen it, but my uncle told me it is really good--reminicent of the first Rocky, but sorta the same story again.

nope sorry,I did,nt rate it , very similar to the original which was a good start , then it got silly when he decides to fight the current world champion at 25 years old and guess who wins !!!!!! (Still at least I did,nt tell you he gets killed in the end) !!!!!
