I know that when he was younger, he was fired from a newspaper company for not having any original ideas and no imagination whatsoever. I've always loved this, so I thought I'd share. But you can go to justdisney.com and find out all sorts of things about him.

Walter Elias Disney born December 5, 1901 (the same day and year as my grandmother, not that any one cares) literally changed how we view animation, theme parks, vacations, America and more
Like to many people he died way to young, of lung cancer.

His parents immigrated from Austria. He loved to draw. He remade versions of several very old tales. He was very artistic and very wise about business.
