I don't think a woman who is raped is at all likely to have an orgasm. Orgasm requires a certain surrender to the moment and a sense of safety -- even for those who play S&M games. In a real rape, a woman feels threatened -- perhaps for her life, and she isn't likely to respond sexually, even if she's very responsive. The brain is on ALERT and DANGER mode, not pleasure mode. Orgasm isn't about pushing buttons. For a woman to have a orgasm requires a whole complex set of circumstances, not just physical responses. One negative thought can shut off the whole response cycle.
Your friend is misinformed about female sexuality.

I have no official (hell, or unofficial) experience with this but that never stopped me from butting in and answering

I think there are (very) extremely low odds of it occurring, but that it is possible. Call it "not impossible," since possible sounds too optimistic.

Since it sometimes doesn't happen for a woman during consensual sex, imagine how much more distant the possibility is during an assault.

Does that mean it's enjoyable? Not necessarily. It just means that a physical response was created. Males have also been induced to orgasm against their will, after all.

Physically possible, yes! probable No!, However it has been reported before, but it is rare and usually causes psychological trauma and if orgasm occurs then the victim is usually racked with shame for an uncontrollable physical response for years as if they have done something wrong. Your friend is living in a fantasy world if he thinks women enjoy it!

Personally, If I were being raped, (and I pray that never happens), I don't think you could physically have an orgasam when something that traumatic is occuring. NO WAY! All you would want to do is try to get away.

I agree with you it is No, because the woman is in control of that part of herself based on the fact that she does not want to perform this sexual act which is being forced on her and the orgasm would happened only based on her choice to release herself. Even though it is alot of physical action taking place its alot of mental going, sex is suppose to be enjoyable not traumatic... Orgasm-The peak of sexual excitement, characterized by strong feelings of pleasure and by a series of involuntary contractions of the muscles of the genitals.

There is no way! Rape is a violent, threatening, forceful assualt. Women are in an extreme state of physical and psychological fight or flight mode. They fear not only physical injury, but for their lives. And as for the incorrect answers to the contrary, you've been misinformed!!

I don't think so! a women doesn't have to have an orgasm every time she has sex.... Many women don't. I think it would be too traumatic for them.... Its not like normal sex where she has that arousal and lubrication.. so.. NO! I don't think so.

i've heard of this before, it is definitely possible, if not unusual. it may only happen to women who have a lot of sensitivity, but for others who don't, then they wouldn't i guess...it is possible though, sorry to disappoint you

Your friend is one sick individual. I guess this is why some rape victims become depressed, suicidal and dysfunctional ... it's from the sheer pleasure of being raped. Good gawd ... some people never cease to amaze me ....
