Everyone has hormones - they are just more readily apparent in pregnant women. The body goes through a lot while producing another human being - the different hormones surging through the mother's body are helping to develop the baby.

Why do men have hormones? Because it is the human body and every body needs hormones for certain functions. It makes for a difficult time if a woman is pregnant. :) Ask my hubby and he will tell you I am definitly different when I am pregnant. It's just the way they are. Pregnant women have had those hormones it is just they are somewhat different when you are pregnant. The levels of estrogen and progesterone change.

Everyone has hormones. Pregnant people's body just produces more for preparation of gestation, and child birth.
The problem starts when males or females start producing more of the opposite sex hormones.

well everyone has hormones. pregnant women have more of some kinds of hormones because they are necessary for the babies development.

It's not just pregnant women who have hormones. You have them too. However, a pregnant woman must have them in order to maintain her pregnancy. If progesterone dosn't rise early in pregnancy, there's not way for the embryo to stay attached.
Don't worry about it. This too shall pass.

ALL PEOPLE HAVE HORMONES. Preg women have different levels during pregnancy to support the baby and birth process.
