For the sake of argument, she is able to fly.
The birth would be recorded at the latitude and longitude. this would determine what country it is now legally born in.
if in open waters, the originating country would be the legal country of "Origin".

I would just assume the country you just left, or where ever the parents are from. That would be such an odd situation. Plus, most oceans even are owned by some country, which is why oil wells, navy fleets and cruise liners have to have permission on where they go in the oceans, but I still think it would be where the parents are from or where the plane just left.

Nice imgaination!

What country or orgin is the woman from? What is the origin of the plane? Is is a military family? I believe it where the mother is from. Check with th airline. I thought I heard the child will get lifetime free airtravel.

You can't fly past a certain point in your pregnancy, but I suppose if it happened then it would be the destination point of the plane.

this is more of a trivia question. i guess their birth would be reported as being in whatever country they were going to or coming from. my mom was born at home in a bathroom and my lil sis was born in an ambulance and i don't know what their birth certificates says either.
