I'm 23 weeks along, and just last week i started to notice pains at the very bottom of my stomach and sides (inside and outside of my hips). it sorta feels like i'm expanding, then again i dunno. i especially experience this when i'm turning from side to side at night ( can only lay on one side for about 45 min to hour at a time). what could this be a result of? am i laying wrong or could something be wrong with the pregnancy? I am gonna call my doc and explain the situation, however i did wanna get feedback from other moms as well. Thanks So much!

im 25 weeks and i experiencing the same thing and my doctor assured me that it was just my uterus expanding and making room for a growing baby. remember as your baby grows everything else gets pushed around so don't worry. if you are worried though consult your doctor.

I just gave birth in October and also felt what you're experiancing around that time of my pregnancy. It's ligament pain - and yes, sometimes it can be extreme! Especially so at night when you're trying oh-so hard to get comfy! Rest assured, it's just your body adjusting to your rapidly growing uterus. As it gets bigger and heavier, it pulls and adds pressure to the ligaments that support it. Any unknown pain during pregnancy can seem scary, I know, but it's normal and will diminish with time (by then you'll have a entirely new set of symptoms to "worry" about). Good luck with your pregnancy, and may you have a happy, healthy baby!!

That would be your ligaments and uterus stretching. It is painful, but it doesn't mean anything's wrong. You should call your doc to see what pain medication you can take (pretty sure, just basic Tylenol) so that you can get some sleep. Also, try a heating pad. 15 mins. on, 15 mins. off. And don't worry you won't "cook" the baby with a heating pad. Good Luck!

it will be. i recognize I had countless rigidity in my pelvis at the same time as my guy dropped. It takes position no be counted what position theyre in, at the same time as they drop into the pelvis its complete of rigidity. Malachi became more desirable typically than not sideways, mutually with his head in a more desirable typically than not upward position sparkling up until eventually 33 weeks for me. He basically kinda lept head first into my pelvis one evening. He even sloshed. Shook the mattress. lol. I dont imagine they provide idea to it really breech until eventually complete time period, at the same time as the toddler really runs out of room to bypass. i recognize they werent in contact for me in any respect mutually with his position. And he easily did turn correct round. basically tell your toddler to get waiting to be born, and to get his head down. Thats what i did. My little guy jumped on the instantaneous there a pair days later.

It is simply pregnancy growing pains. Sometimes they can get quite uncomfortable, especially if this isnt your first baby.
