You just learn to adapt. For most people, it's harder, but you've got MUCH more free time. So, time management becomes crucial since there are SOOO many fun things to do and there's rarely attendance. You just have to adapt and learn time management and self discipline.
Just play the game.

College is the same idea as high school, usually, but with a lot more freedom of choice. You choose which classes to take that will fulfill requirements as you work towards a major that you decide upon. There will often be some general education requirements so the school produces a well-rounded student. Your class schedule will be decided on what courses you want to take, and when they are available. You may have an 8am, 9am, then a break until 1pm, or you may have class 9am-3pm. The course content will become increasingly more difficult as you move from 100 level courses to 400 level courses, and more will be expected of you. But this will be a transition over several years.
The goal of college is to become a professional in your major, and to make professional contacts. You should meet people within your major so that if you have questions, they can assist you, and vice versa. You will also meet very diverse individuals which you never encountered before. Take the time to work work with professors, so that they may write you a letter of recommendation later when you apply for jobs or graduate school.
Most of all, enjoy your time responsibly. Many students fail out because they do not focus on course work, instead socializing too often. Or, they do not ask for assistance when they need it. Lastly, they break school rules that can have them expelled/dismissed. You do not want to pay a lot of money and have it not count for anything.

It's difficult at first because you have to get accustomed to a lot of things -- like adhering to a study schedule when you don't (usually) have homework.
I don't really stress out about it until Finals Week. That's pretty stressful because of the finality of things. However, if you start studying in advance and plan your classes so your Finals don't occur all on the same day, you'll be fine.

Well, if you're going to go to college you might want to PUNCTUATE.
No, it's actually easier than high school because you have more freedom to do your work. Just make sure that you DO all of your assignments. Homework is not just busy work in college; most of it is graded or aids you in taking the tests.
