We are thinking of a family trip in the next coming year ...where is a nice place to take your family .

The beaches of South Florida are nice right now if you like the sun and water. The water is a little cool now but your from Canada you probably won't mind. There is also lots of shopping ,and close to the everglades, if you want to take an air boat ride, although that can get a little costly for an hour long trip. Billy's Swamp Safari out in the everglades offers shorter rides at a reasonable rate and also have live alligators you can hold. (Don't worry their mouths are taped shut).It sits about half way between Naples and Ft. Lauderdale. St. George Island on the Florida Panhandle is nice too and It's quiet for family time but not far from Panama City FL, I would avoid that area during spring break. It also gets a little chilly there in the winter,so if your coming in Jan.-Feb you may want to head further south. North Florida does experience frequent overnight frosts in the winter although the days do warm up but it may only get to 50-60. Many places along the gulf coast rent vacation homes, daily weekly and monthly, it may be less costly then renting hotel rooms.

I stay in Schertz, TX and that i love it! Downtown San Antonio is quarter-hour away, there are also smaller vacationer cities, Like New Braunfels ( familiar for Shclitterbahn water parks) Austin is an hour away! I drove up Schertz throughway the different day and said all the 6 12 months previous (and up) driving their scooters, and motorcycles to college, and that i undergo in ideas questioning "Wow, it in simple terms feels threat-free" Schertz is a small community, with very pleasant human beings, there are a large number of protection pressure households as well! that is fantastically warmth 12 months round, that is chilly interior the wintry climate, yet would not snow!

Once I had a summer party in the winter....cranked up the heat and did summer-related things. Decorated accordingly. Everyone wore their fun summer clothes. It was a cheap way to have some fun and not be so cold.

how about the nice beaches around the gulf of Mexico. we go to corpus christi texas.
