A few weeks ago in Newsarama Joe Quesada the editor of Marvel compared DC and Marvel to Elvis and the Beatles. The original and the ones who took it to the next level. I think that is pretty much the case. If you take that comparisons outward you see that each is better at some things then the other. So which one is better? Depends on what you are looking for. Both are great.

SInce about 1965 Marvel has been the number one company. this is based on powerful stories backed by powerful character development. Stan Lee was able to recognize that characters needed to be as human as possible. This helps the readers to connect. DC has not been able to achieve the same success from following this concept.

Marvel, because the Marvel universe is more realistic. Marvel characters have real problems--just like in real life.

marvel is best.
Marvel makes characters that have as many real life problems and issues to deal with as we do.
DC characters tend to be more archtypical personalities.

I have to go with Marvel. There characters seem to be more rounded like normal people with superhuman powers.

Marvel has better plots, if maybe realistic
Plus I like the art better.
