Would a woman leave her husband who is much taller than she is, to marry a man of the height the same as hers or a slightly higher, in order to mirror the height of her own parents, who both are the same height or with a small difference in heights and who gave a birth to a child of the same height as they are?

Actually I mean what I have said. If you pretend that you haven't got me -sorry, it is not my fault. But height impresses all people, you can't deny it.

If she did, she's a loser! I mean, come on. I've heard most women like and want taller men (there's even scientific studies showing women prefer to mate with men whom are taller), but for the reasons you mention? That's pretty bad.

At first glance this seems like a very strange question. After thinking about it it became even stranger. Then it got interesting. Picking a mate solely on height? Is it done? Sure, I guess, you can find at least one of everything in this world.

Would a person be happy doing it? That would be a more interesting question. Would the choice of a mate by chance, in this case height, be more effective then letting us chose by "falling in love" and using our free will.

Arranged marriages in other countries would be something to look at to get a peek into the success or lack of. I would venture a guess that picking a mate purely on height would have no worse of a separation rate then any other method, including free will!

To be honest, I think men are often more obsessed with height than women are. And I say this as a 5'11 female who has dated men shorter than me, the same height as me, and taller than me. And I gotta tell you the reason that any of them made the cut had nothing to do with height. That should be obvious because you know that there were jokes everywhere we went(when dating the shorter ones), but I was willing to take that walk because of the person inside. Bottom line, if she truly loves him than that should not be an issue whatsoever.

My thought to this is why'd she marry this guy in the first place if she thought he was "too tall" to begin with?

My husband is 6 ft 2in and I'm 5 ft 2...I love him hence the reason I married him. If height were an issue with me in the very begining, I would've kept our relationship a friendship.

If a woman were to really do that , I'd find her a very shallow person.

Anyway, God Bless.

Height does not impress all people. If someone leaves someone else because of their height it's probably best for the person they left.

What does height have to do with love? Love is why most people get married. Of course, love means different things to different people. Height may be one of your criteria to marriage. Weired stuff some people ask..

Well by all means please show the world how stupid things get done for real.

You would leave your husband to be with a shorter man just in the slim chance that you get pregnant and have kids of the same stature as your own parents?

You have to be kidding me, lets call Rosie and see what she says and then followup with the Donald.

:)

no! she should not leave her husband (unless for a serious reason: cheating, violence) If she loves him, she doesn't feel the need tio leave him.
If she thinks about leaving him because of his height, that's only a pretext. There are things FAAAAR more important than height in a man.

That's pretty lame. You want to leave your husband based on height? What if my husband wanted to leave me because I just had a baby and felt I was fat? It would be unfair wouldn't it? The fact that he wanted to leave me over something about myself I had no control over? He says its cuz he doesn't want fat kids and the genetics may follow them. Still not right. Flip the script honey ... that is so foul!

If that's the only real problem in your marriage you've got it made and NO i don't believe if she loves you you're height would be an issue. If it bothered her she would have never dated you in the first place
