it's sad if you can't strike up any conversation when your there. otherwise no.

I personally don't go clubbing, I like pubbing. I have friends that go alone sometimes. And usually they sit in a corner and watch everything. You can club alone if you mingle with the crowd. Go up and dance to a great song, while other's are dancing as well, strike up a conversation...or you can flirt with your smile. I don't think it's sad, as long as you have a good time.

I don't do clubs....but I don't know. Going to the club alone I guess is kind of like going out to dinner or to the movies alone...it's not sad, but it is a little pathetic..what's the point? GET SOME FRIENDS. Good luck babe!

it's a decent way to meet people. and anyway, having fun alone is never sad. it's our culture of relationship-obsession that's sad. you can be entirely fulfilled without ever dating someone. it's all about knowing when it's okay to be alone.

no i don't think it's sad ! it took me a few years to pluck up the courage to go into a pub on my own but i did it and made lots of freinds
